Electrical safety in historic buildings

Tuesday 23 June, 1pm

Historic buildings present specific electrical safety challenges, and faults in these systems are a significant cause of fire. Many historic properties still rely on old wiring that has been altered repeatedly over time, sometimes in ways that are unsafe or overloaded.

Combined with combustible materials and hidden voids, this can make compliance and fire risk management difficult.

This webinar examines how to manage electrical safety in historic buildings, using real-world case studies that demonstrate how problems have been identified and resolved.

It is aimed at property managers, surveyors, contractors, and others responsible for historic buildings who need practical guidance on keeping people safe, reducing fire risk, and protecting the long-term significance of these buildings.
