How To Apply for a Neighbourhood Heritage Grant

Who and what we fund

We are looking to provide 21 grants of up to £15,000. Successful applicants will support communities to use heritage as a way of shaping the future of their local places.

Projects must be co-created, within an area of IMD1-3, and working with underrepresented communities. This includes:

  • Communities experiencing socio-economic disadvantage
  • Communities who are less likely to participate in heritage activity
  • Minority ethnic communities
  • Disabled people
  • Neurodivergent people
  • LGBTQ+ communities
  • Communities experiencing barriers to participation in local planning, regeneration or civic processes
