Records of archaeological sites and monuments, finds and historic buildings, developer-funded interventions and research reports, an extensive AP collection for the entire county, and a complete collection of the primary county journal, Transactions of the Cumberland & Westmorland Antiquarian & Archaeological Society, from 1900 onwards. The HER is open by prior appointment only. Consultation is free, but charges are made for Officer time for commercial searches.
