Description
This collection covers the counties of Dorset, Gloucestershire, Warwickshire and Worcestershire. The images show a mix of street scenes and architectural detail, often within churches. There are 45 original prints (mostly mounted) and 49 original glass plate negatives in the collection.
Percy Thomas Deakin was meticulous in his recording of the photographic technique used to create each image, along with the date it was taken, and prints are often also mounted. This information is written on the reverse of the mounts.
Archival History
The collection was acquired by The English Heritage Archive some time before 1992.
