Sketchfab

A 3D modelling platform allowing users to explore 3D models on the web.

How it works

A link is embedded into the backend which generates the component. This enables the user to interact with the chosen subject, whether than be an artefact, building or shipwreck beneath the sea.

Intended purpose

To give the user a deeper understanding of a specific subject matter that may otherwise be unobtainable.

How to add to CMS

  1.  As an Editor, go to the CMS and scroll down on an article page.
  2.  Find the article page you want to edit.
  3.  Click the "Add Content" option to open the content editor within Sections.
  4.  Select "Add Content" and click "Sketchfab".
  5.  After adding your Sketchfab, Add the desired Titles and Descriptions by typing in the text boxes
  6.  Save the changes to your article page in Umbraco.
  7.  Preview the article page to ensure the Sketchfab works and views as expected.
