Used to share content from Facebook to the Historic England website

How it works

The relevant piece of social media is embedded into the page by editors.

Intended purpose

This component allows editors to share social media content into an article when relevant. This would enable the audience to then also share the social content or go on to share the whole page.

How to add to CMS

  1.  As an Editor, go to the CMS and scroll down on an article page.
  2.  Find the article page you want to edit.
  3.  "Add Content" option to open the content editor within Sections.
  4.  Select "Add Content" and click "Facebook Post".
  5.  After adding your block, Add the desired link in the box under the display name
  6.  Save the changes to your article page in Umbraco.
  7.  Preview the article page to ensure the item works as expected.
