External Links section

An External Links section is made up of clickable links which are related to the main page. The links will lead the user to an external source.

How it works

An external links section is a list of external links that direct the reader away from the Historic England website.

Intended purpose

How to add to CMS

  1.  As an Editor, go to the CMS and scroll down on an article page.
  2.  Find the article page you want to edit.
  3.  Click the "Add Content" option to open the content editor within Related Content.
  4.  Select "Add Content" and click "External Links Section".
  5.  After adding your Item, Add the desired Titles and Descriptions by typing in the text boxes
  6.  Save the changes to your article page in Umbraco.
  7.  Preview the article page to ensure the item works and views as expected.
