Rich links

A rich link is a prominent, stylized item with a clear call to action. A rich link can display an external or internal link.

    Historic England holds an extensive range of publications and historic collections in its public archive covering the historic environment.

How to use the component

  • Provide 2-7 links only. Too many links can overwhelm the users.
  • Maintain consistency across the list items. 
  • Do not use it in between paragraphs as this can disrupt the users.

How to add to CMS

  1.  As an Editor, go to the CMS and scroll down on an article page.
  2.  Find the article page you want to edit.
  3.  Click the "Add Content" option to open the content editor within Sections.
  4.  Select "Add Content" and click "Rich Links".
  5.  After adding your Rich Links info, Add the desired Titles and Descriptions by typing in the text boxes
  6.  Save the changes to your article page in Umbraco.
  7.  Preview the article page to ensure the Rich Links works and views as expected.
